25th march 2020 - Beauty/HAIR rETAILERS UPDATE
Centrepoint Midland plays a key role in supporting the community with essential goods and services during this challenging time. Last night, the Prime Minister announced further trading restrictions which will be applied from midnight tonight to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
Any beauty therapy, nail salons, tanning bars, waxing salons and massage parlours will close at end of trade today until further notice. Please note that hairdressers and barbers continue to stay open. Time in the premises must be restricted to no more than 30 minutes or preferably less.
We understand this is a challenging time for our community and for our retailers that can no longer trade. We very much look forward to welcoming them back when these necessary restrictions are removed.

23rd march 2020 - food retailers update
As of 12pm on 23 March 2020, following the Federal Government’s announcement last night of new Stage 1 social gatherings restrictions, we’re sad to announce that various cafes/restaurants at Centrepoint Midland Shopping Centre will be either closed or restricted to take away and home delivery only until further notice.

Shops 21/22/26a - Tazza Caffe - Closed
Shop 21 - Daiwo Shiki - Closed
Shop 32 - Midland Chinese BBQ Restaurant - Trading as normal - TAKEAWAY ONLY
Shop 27 - Midland Kebab and Pizza Cafe - Trading as normal - TAKEAWAY ONLY
Kiosk (external) - Muzz Buzz - Trading as normal - TAKEAWAY ONLY

We understand that our community has growing concerns about the COVID-19 and public spaces. Centrepoint Midland will continue to remain open and continue to provide you with a safe space to visit for all your shopping essential services.
The health, safety and wellbeing of our customers, retailers, team members and our community is always our highest priority. We are monitoring and will act upon recommendations from our federal and state health departments.
We ask that you continue to support our small local businesses as they will need your support now more than ever.

16th march 2020 - woolworths update
Woolworths Supermarkets is introducing temporary measures across its stores to help support the shopping needs of the elderly and people with disability in the community.
From tomorrow (Tuesday 17th March) until at least Friday, Woolworths Supermarkets will be opening exclusively for the elderly and those with a disability to shop from 7am to 8am.
The move has been prompted by the unprecedented demand in supermarkets over the past week, which has seen many elderly and vulnerable people in the community missing out on vital items they may need when they shop.
Woolworths Supermarkets will open to all customers from 8am. Access to the store prior to this time will require a relevant Government issued concession card.
Woolworths will be open from 7am until Friday, and will be closing at 8pm this Thursday 19th only. Please take note of these updated hours and refer to our Facebook and website for updates.

Please note the Centre’s free SENIORS MORNING TEA & LITTLE CRAFTY KIDS SESSIONS have been postpone due to concerns over COVID-19. The health and wellbeing of our customers remains our highest priority.
